Healthcare Enterprise Analytics Outcomes Specialist

Role Overview

Under the leadership of the Manager Outcomes Evaluation, the Enterprise Analytics Outcomes Specialist operates as a Data Scientist responsible for evaluating internal clinical programs and developing statistical models to guide evidence-based population health management practices. The team develops analytics to support a range of departments, including matched retrospective program evaluations, models for optimizing mix of outreach, and estimating potential operational changes. The Outcomes Specialist prepares and assists the Senior Outcomes Specialist in evaluation of results in a manner that’s accepted by a diverse group of stakeholders.

Work Arrangement

  • This is a 100% Remote position


Responsibilities

  • Support corporate, plan-level, and departmental strategies and goals by developing and implementing data-driven solutions
  • Evaluate Population Health programs across multiple endpoints
  • Build statistical models to answer business questions
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop analytics which helps collaborators improve operations. Assist with designing new approaches and methodologies
  • Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed to operational systems


Education and Experience

  • Advanced quantitative degree (MS Degree) or undergraduate degree (BS in statistics, biostatistics, public health, analytics) plus 3 years of experience
  • Three to five (3 – 5) years of experience in Data Science, RWD, RWE, HEOR, Population Health, Operations Research or similar quantitative field in a Health Care or Pharmaceutical setting
  • Experience with Python, R, or SAS
  • Experience with insurance claims or EHR data
  • Knowledge of Population Health or Insurance Operations is a plus
  • Strong or exceptional communication skills are a plus
