Our office is located in Morton Grove, IL and we are looking for a highly motivated Sourcing Specialist.

Job Description:

We are looking for the next strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. Are you someone with a high level of curiosity and canny ability to ask all the right questions? Do you have that slight competitive edge that has always seemed to get you in the top 10? Do you have critically relationship skills that allow you to build long lasting personal relationships with vendors? Responsibilities:

• Maintain a budget control over the dietary spend
• Ensure accuracy with classifying GLs on orders
• Review item substitutions and discontinued items submitted by suppliers
• Perform all duties regarding the sourcing of goods for clients
• Compare data provided by multiple vendors to determine best proposal
• Working with contract team as needed for contract related procurement issues
• Managing daily que of sourcing requests from direct email and task management workflow
• Ensuring timely completion of requests
• Maintain good relationships with suppliers
