Heat Pump Refrigeration/Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine servicing and maintenance of heating systems and heat pumps.
• Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently in domestic and commercial properties.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Occasionally work away from home as needed.

Position Requirements:

• A problem solver who thrives on challenges.
• A positive, 'can-do' attitude with a strong ambition to progress.
• Proven experience in the refrigeration industry, particularly with safe handling of refrigerants (preferred).
• NVQ or City and Guilds qualifications in refrigeration/air conditioning are ideal.
• Flexibility in working hours is required.
• IT literacy and a full, clean driving license are essential.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in air conditioning and maintenance.
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to interpret schematics.
• Leadership skills to supervise and guide team members.
• Expertise in equipment repair, specifically in heating systems.
• A construction background to understand heating system performance and installations.

£38,000 per annum basic with up to £48,000 with overtime.
