Job Title: HVAC Installer / HVAC Installation Technician

Job Summary-We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly skilled HVAC Installer to join our growing field services team. In this role, you will safely lay out, assemble, and connect complete heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work in residential and commercial settings to replace old units or install advanced equipment in new construction projects. The ideal candidate has excellent problem-solving skills, values workplace safety, and delivers top-tier customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment Assembly: Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, indoor coils, air cleaners, and dehumidifiers.
• System Connections: Run copper refrigerant lines, connect gas lines, and install low/line-voltage electrical wiring.
• Ductwork Fabrication: Design, fabricate, and hang custom sheet metal duct fittings to optimize system airflow.
• Testing & Startup: Conduct system diagnostics, test electrical components, and check for refrigerant leaks.
• Code Compliance: Maintain absolute adherence to local building codes, EPA rules, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Customer Interaction: Walk clients through the new system installation details, thermostat controls, and maintenance requirements.
• Mentorship: Provide clear on-the-job training and guidance to assigned HVAC apprentice helpers.
• Documentation: Neatly complete all physical or digital invoices, supply checklists, and project tracking paperwork.

Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Literacy: Proven capability operating standard manual trade equipment and specialty diagnostic meters/vacuum pumps.
• Troubleshooting: Ability to quickly address unexpected mechanical faults or physical space limitations on structural sites.
• Communication: Strong communication skills for clear coordination with site managers, dispatchers, and property owners.
• Physical Stamina: Able to work in tight attics or crawlspaces, withstand variable seasonal temperatures, and lift up to 100 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
