Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and HVAC design specifications
• Conduct system inspections, troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters, and perform necessary repairs or replacements of components like compressors, fans, thermostats, and piping
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to ensure precise installation and maintenance procedures
• Perform plumbing connections related to HVAC systems, ensuring proper flow and safety standards are met
• Utilize welding techniques when required for ductwork or equipment fabrication and repair
• Maintain detailed records of service activities, system configurations, and repair logs for accountability and future reference
• Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely to transport equipment and materials between job sites while adhering to all safety regulations

Skills

• Strong construction background with experience in installing HVAC systems in various environments
• Proven service technician experience with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance
• Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems integration
• Familiarity with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration used in industrial applications
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and property maintenance practices
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems
• Experience working in field service roles with excellent problem-solving skills
• Mechanical knowledge related to appliance repair, air conditioning units, and overall system optimization
• Valid <PERSON> driver license with a clean driving record for safe transportation between sites

Pay: $26.40 - $34.00 per hour
