Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure our clients enjoy comfortable, safe environments while supporting the smooth operation of our service projects.

Duties

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, and heating equipment according to schematics and design specifications
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans for accurate installations
• Conduct equipment repairs using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other mechanical tools; replace faulty components as needed
• Service refrigeration units including ammonia refrigeration systems and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Diagnose issues with boilers, appliances, or property systems through field inspections and mechanical assessments
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation and property maintenance
• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as refrigeration or appliance repair
• Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately
• Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems including ammonia refrigeration
• Skilled in plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and equipment repair techniques
• Experience with field service work involving air conditioning units and property maintenance tasks
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; familiarity with <PERSON> driver requirements preferred
• Proficiency with testing instruments such as ohmmeters; ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in welding and boiler systems is highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
