Responsibilities

• Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and system configuration.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC equipment to optimize performance and extend lifespan.
• Conduct system testing using tools such as ohmmeters and refrigerant gauges to diagnose issues accurately.
• Utilize welding skills and mechanical knowledge for equipment repair or modification when necessary.
• Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems, ensuring proper integration with existing property infrastructure.
• Maintain detailed service records electronically through App, complete shift reports, and document all work performed for quality assurance and compliance purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician or installer within the HVAC industry; self starter with experience working with a helper is highly valued.
• Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems.
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of residential and light commercial hvac systems.
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and field testing equipment confidently.
• Experience with HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) is essential.
• Skilled in welding and equipment repair techniques.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving company vehicles preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for working directly with clients and team members in the field.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
