Join our team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer/service Technician! Responsibilities

  • Install new residential HVAC systems knowledge of the Carrier line is a plus.
  • Installing furnaces, air conditioning units, roof top units, boilers, ductwork systems, and humidifiers, according to schematics and blue print design plans
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, ensuring efficient operation and longevity
  • Read and interpret technical schematics, HVAC design documents, installation manuals, and mechanical drawings to execute installations accurately
  • Demonstrate organizational skills
  • Troubleshoot system issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to identify electrical or mechanical faults
  • Knowledge of brazing for refrigeration connections, installing refrigeration lines, water supply lines for humidifiers
  • Ability to troubleshoot and demonstrating the knowledge to service and repair multiple different brands of HVAC units to ensure system integrity
  • Maintain detailed service records, installation logs, and maintenance reports for each project or service call

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 year minimum field experience
  • Proven experience as a lead service technician in HVAC installation or maintenance roles; construction background is highly valued
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity with troubleshooting residential furnaces and air conditioners, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings, blue prints, accurately; experience with HVAC design is a plus
  • Knowledge of residential field service procedures
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • EPA card
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as for electrical troubleshooting
  • Ability to work safely in various environments while adhering to safety protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
