Duties
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment following schematics and HVAC design plans
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to ensure proper operation
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R (refrigeration) systems, including plumbing connections and ammonia refrigeration units
- Read and interpret technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and HVAC system layouts to guide installation procedures
- Repair and service HVAC equipment on-site for commercial or residential properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems with appliances, air conditioning units, boilers, or refrigeration systems
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs performed, and system diagnostics for client files
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician within the HVAC or refrigeration industry with a strong understanding of HVAC design principles
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving HVAC installation or property maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge related to boiler operation, appliance repair, welding techniques, and equipment repair
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, and field service procedures for HVAC/R systems
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems or other specialized refrigerants is a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to support travel between job sites (<PERSON> driver experience preferred)
- Prior experience in plumbing or mechanical trades enhances your ability to handle complex installations efficiently

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
