Job Summary

Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation.
- Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints to accurately assemble and troubleshoot systems.
- Perform plumbing connections and refrigerant line installations for various HVAC units.
- Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues and perform equipment repairs.
- Weld or fabricate components as needed for system modifications or repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Operate <PERSON> drivers or other vehicles to transport equipment or materials safely to job sites.
- Work with refrigeration systems and understand the specifics of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) applications.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving mechanical knowledge across multiple disciplines including appliance repair and field service operations.
Skills
- Strong construction background with hands-on experience installing HVAC systems in various environments.
- Proven service technician experience with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R equipment efficiently.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles to assist in system layout planning and installation.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems related to heating and cooling units.
- Experience working with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge spanning boilers, pumps, motors, welding techniques, and general equipment repair.
- Field service experience demonstrating the ability to diagnose issues on-site promptly.
- Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Mechanical aptitude combined with property maintenance skills for ongoing system upkeep.

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour
