Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems according to schematics and HVAC design specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure precise system setup
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, boilers, refrigeration units, and appliances to optimize performance
• Perform refrigeration work including ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R applications with safety and accuracy
• Use tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical issues and perform mechanical repairs
• Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and property maintenance tasks as needed
• Drive company vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to various job sites

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician or installer in construction or HVAC/R environments
• Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and appliance maintenance
• Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and property maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable
• Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service settings
• Prior experience with HVAC/R systems, mechanical troubleshooting, or property maintenance is preferred
