Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician! Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and maintenance.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC/R (refrigeration) equipment to optimize performance and longevity.
- Use technical tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for system fabrication or repairs.
- Conduct property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, including plumbing connections and appliance repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using specialized tools and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations such as ammonia refrigeration handling.
Skills
- Strong construction background with experience in mechanical systems installation.
- Proven service technician experience in HVAC/R or related fields such as refrigeration or appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately for installation and troubleshooting purposes.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles to support system planning and modifications.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing plumbing, welding, boiler operation, and property maintenance.
- Field service expertise with a focus on prompt diagnosis and resolution of issues on-site.
- Familiarity with refrigerants like ammonia refrigeration systems and associated safety protocols.
- Experience operating diagnostic tools including ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a <PERSON> driver is a plus.

Pay: $27.82 - $45.00 per hour
