HVAC TECH Duties

• Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment, ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately assemble and install complex systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC units, including appliance repair, property maintenance tasks, and system upgrades.
• Conduct field service visits for troubleshooting issues related to air conditioning, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing connections, and mechanical components.
• Operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, and equipment between job sites.
• Document all work performed meticulously in service reports while adhering to safety protocols during installation and repairs.

HVAC TECH Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician or installer within the HVAC industry with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems.
• Hands-on mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and property maintenance.
• Familiarity with construction processes, schematics reading, HVAC design principles, and refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration.
• Prior field service experience involving appliance repair, air conditioning systems, plumbing connections, or property maintenance is highly desirable.
• Mechanical or technical certifications related to HVAC/R are preferred; experience with Ohmmeter usage and equipment diagnostics is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret schematics accurately and apply HVAC design concepts in real-world installations.
• Valid <PERSON> driver license with a clean driving record; experience operating specialized equipment such as welders or boilers is advantageous. Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
