Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

HVAC Technician – Multi-Family Apartments: Job Summary:‐ We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across our multi-family apartment communities.

- The ideal candidate will have experience working in residential settings, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring resident comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities:- Inspect, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems in apartment units and common areas. - Install new HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, thermostats, and ventilation systems. - Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. - Respond promptly to urgent repair requests from residents and property management. - Conduct system inspections to identify potential issues before failures occur. - Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, and maintenance activities. - Ensure compliance with all safety standards and local building codes. - Communicate effectively with residents and property staff regarding service needs and maintenance schedules. - Assist with emergency repairs and troubleshooting as needed. Qualifications:- Proven experience as an HVAC technician, preferably in multi-family or residential settings. - Valid HVAC technician certification/license. - Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills:- Experience with smart thermostats and building automation systems. - Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems related to HVAC. - EPA Certification. Working Conditions:- On-call availability for emergency repairs. - Ability to work in various weather conditions. - Physical ability to access all areas of apartment units and mechanical rooms.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
