Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver exceptional climate control solutions across diverse property types. Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as drainage, piping repairs, or component replacements.
- Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for system repairs or modifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports documenting work performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all service activities.
- Assist in property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems to ensure continuous operation and energy efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction environments or field service roles.
- Proven service technician experience with HVAC systems, plumbing, and appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for complex HVAC/R systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles to assist with system upgrades or new installations.
- Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical components.
- Experience with welding techniques for system repairs or modifications.
- Understanding of property maintenance practices related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
- Mechanical experience with pumps, fans, ductwork, and other HVAC components.
- Ability to operate specialized tools and equipment safely in various environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for operating a vehicle when required.
