Duties

• Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
• Conduct troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments to identify electrical or mechanical faults.
• Repair plumbing components related to HVAC systems.
• Weld, fabricate, or modify equipment as needed to meet operational specifications.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of refrigerants and other hazardous materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
• Construction experience or familiarity with building systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and HVAC design documents accurately.
• Field service experience demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot on-site effectively under diverse conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities for clear documentation and customer interaction.
