Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Duties

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, system calibrations, and component inspections to prevent future failures.
• Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and leak repairs for refrigeration or ammonia refrigeration units.
• Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for system repairs requiring metal fabrication.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using mechanical knowledge and field service techniques; repair or replace faulty components efficiently.
• Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and communicate effectively with clients about system status and maintenance needs.

Skills

• Strong understanding of construction principles related to HVAC installation and property maintenance.
• Proven experience as a service technician with hands-on expertise in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems.
• Ability to read schematics accurately and apply HVAC design concepts during troubleshooting or installation projects.
• Mechanical knowledge encompassing appliance repair, boiler operation, , and general equipment repair.
• Field service experience with a focus on property maintenance, air conditioning systems, and mechanical components.
• Familiarity with plumbing techniques relevant to HVAC systems; experience working with refrigerants is a plus.
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters; capable of welding or performing minor metal repairs when necessary.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of safety protocols involving HVAC/R equipment handling and electrical systems to ensure safe work practices. Pay: $27.41 - $33.01 per hour
