Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage, piping, and refrigerant lines.
- Use diagnostic tools like ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical components within HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems.
- Repair appliances and mechanical components including welders and other specialized equipment.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete reports on repairs performed, and document system conditions for future reference.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in construction environments or property maintenance settings.
- Proven service technician experience with HVAC systems, refrigeration units, or appliance repair.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings for complex HVAC/R systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles and installation procedures.
- Familiarity with plumbing techniques related to refrigerant lines and drainage systems.
- Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
- Proficiency with field service operations including troubleshooting electrical issues using tools like ohmmeters.
- Skilled in equipment repair, welding, boiler maintenance, and general mechanical repairs.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle safely.
