About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale heavy civil and highway construction projects in the Draper, Utah region. This role requires a seasoned construction leader with extensive experience overseeing complex civil projects, managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional quality.

The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for supervising all phases of heavy civil and roadway construction, maintaining schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring strict adherence to company standards and project specifications.

• Extensive experience in heavy civil or highway construction

• Strong knowledge of scheduling software, project documentation, and reporting processes
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors efficiently

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (required)
• Minimum 5 years of earthwork and roadway Superintendent or Foreperson experience leading heavy equipment crews (grader, track hoe, backhoe, loader, dirt crews, pipe crews)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in all phases of roadway construction, including dirt excavation, underground utilities, and grading
• Minimum 10 years experience reading blueprints and specifications for roadway earthwork projects
• Must pass a valid driver’s license check and criminal background check
