We are currently seeking a full-time hands on, skilled, and reliable heavy equipment mechanic to work in our shop in Mesa. As a certified Woman-Owned Small Business and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), we take pride in our staff emphasizing safety, quality, and exceptional customer service.

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. This position is vital to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our heavy equipment and machinery used in various construction projects across the valley and out of state. The ideal candidate will have experience in fabricating, welding, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, water truck maintenance, routine service, A/C systems, etc. . **Class A or B CDL License Required**

Responsibilities:

  • Takes the lead in solving maintenance issues by analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Completes required recordkeeping for inspections and routine maintenance.
  • Diagnose mechanical problems, repair, and maintain construction vehicles.
  • Knowledge of replacement part ordering for specific vehicles
  • Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc.
  • Conduct repairs ensuring maximum reliability.
  • Problem solving to ensure safe operations.
  • Broad range of knowledge in multiple makes and models of equipment/vehicles.
  • Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow procedures while having the ability to coordinate well with others.
  • Standing, bending, lifting for long periods of time.
  • Some travel required transporting vehicles and handling project site repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience diagnosing mechanical issues and conducting repairs.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job.
  • Familiarity with fabrication techniques and soldering skills is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Experience repairing heavy equipment, water trucks, etc a plus.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment processes.
