Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Join our team as a mobile Heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic and become a vital part of maintaining and repairing a wide range of trucks and equipment. In this role, you will use your expertise to ensure machinery and vehicles operate safely, efficiently, and reliably across various industries. Your hands-on skills will keep our customers' fleet and equipment in top condition!

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites to diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, etc. on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and much more.
• Perform routine maintenance on a number of fleets.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document repairs for billing, accountability, and future reference.

Experience

• Proven mechanic experience with heavy equipment/truck repair and diagnostics.
• Strong background in diagnostics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding, soldering, and working with power tools.
• Familiarity with heavy duty equipment such as; CAT, John Deere, Hitachi, tractor-trailers, excavators, cranes, and forklifts is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
