Heavy Driver

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver who has 4,6 Number license to provide transport services for goods and personnel between the head office and various company locations. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of materials, documents, and staff, while maintaining professionalism and excellent vehicle condition.

Key Responsibilities:

· Safely transport small goods, documents, cash, or staff to designated destinations using the company’s van.

· Assist with loading and unloading smaller items when necessary, ensuring careful handling of all materials.

· Maintain punctual deliveries while upholding a high standard of professionalism.

· Conduct regular vehicle checks and routine maintenance (e.g., oil, tire pressure) to ensure the van is in excellent working condition.

· Report any mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor.

· Keep the interior and exterior of the van clean and presentable at all times.

· Adhere to all traffic regulations and ensure the safety of passengers, goods, and the vehicle.

· Complete minor errands, such as collecting documents and delivering small packages.

· Maintain accurate records of trips, including delivery times, distances, and fuel consumption.

· Handle small, fragile, or delicate items with care.

Additional Duties:

· Pick up and drop off staff for BFH, PIC, EID, Airport transfers, Induction, and medical appointments as scheduled.

· Collect and distribute invoices, documents, and cash between head office and outlets.

· Assist with staff movement between company outlets and accommodations as per operational requirements.

· Maintain a professional and friendly attitude while interacting with staff and clients.

· Attend shift briefings and training sessions to stay informed of company procedures.

Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

· Experience in van driving or logistics support preferred.

· Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and care.
