Heavy Driver - Construction Field

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport Materials & Equipment - Operate heavy vehicles such as dump trucks, cement mixers, trailers, and loaders to deliver construction materials and machinery.
  • Site Operations Support - Move equipment between sites and assist in loading/unloading supplies.
  • Safety Compliance - Follow all traffic and site safety regulations; ensure loads are properly secured.
  • Vehicle Maintenance - Conduct routine inspections, report mechanical issues, and perform minor maintenance (fueling, cleaning).
  • Documentation - Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip sheets, and vehicle service records.
  • Team Collaboration - Work closely with site supervisors, logistics teams, and equipment operators to ensure timely deliveries.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (CDL or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2–5 years of experience in construction or heavy transport.
  • Knowledge of road safety laws and construction site protocols.
  • Ability to operate multiple heavy vehicles (dump trucks, trailers, mixers).
  • Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Attention to detail for load security and safe driving.
  • Time management to meet delivery schedules.
  • Adaptability to work in varying site conditions (dust, heat, uneven terrain).
  • Physical stamina for long hours and handling heavy loads.

Work Environment

  • Primarily outdoors on construction sites.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, and weather conditions.
  • Requires adherence to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) standards.
