Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic – Competitive Pay - NO Weekends

Schicker Ford of St. Louis is hiring an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician / Diesel Mechanic to join our service team.

We are looking for a Journeyman, Senior, or Master-level diesel technician with strong diagnostic skills and experience working on heavy-duty trucks or vans. If you take pride in accurate diagnostics, productivity, and quality workmanship, this is a dealership that values experienced technicians.

Closed Saturdays and Sundays. No weekends required.

Compensation:

• Up to $48.00 per hour based on experience and certification
• Sign-On Bonus available for Ford Certified Technicians
• Weekly pay
• Consistent workload with 40+ hours available

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel engines
• Electrical and drivability diagnostics
• Aftertreatment and emissions system repair
• Transmission and drivetrain repairs
• Steering, suspension, and brake system service
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs accurately
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Proper documentation of repair orders

Qualifications:

• Journeyman to Senior/Master-level diesel technician experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Ford diesel (Power Stroke) experience preferred
• Own tools required
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• State Inspector License preferred
• Ability to work efficiently and independently

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• Day shift
• No weekends
