Heavy duty truck driver

Job Role Summary: Responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport goods and cargo within the UAE, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with road safety laws, and excellent service representation of the company’s brand.

Key Responsibility:

• Operate heavy trucks for scheduled deliveries locally and cross-emirate.
• Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and delivered safely and on time.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections (tyres, brakes, lights, load).
• Complete and submit accurate documentation: delivery notes, fuel logs, trip sheets, PODs (Proof of Delivery).
• Report vehicle issues and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Follow assigned routes and communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse teams and customers.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times.
• Comply with UAE traffic rules and company safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License (Category 4 or equivalent).
• Clean driving record with strong knowledge of UAE roads and traffic laws.
• Good physical fitness and safety-conscious attitude.
• Basic communication skills in English (additional languages like Hindi/Urdu can be beneficial).
