Sadler Power Train is a leading distributor of truck parts specializing in light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks. We are headquartered in Cedar Rapids, IA with branches in Davenport, Dubuque and Waterloo.

We are looking for the right individual to join our team in our Davenport, IA location as a diesel mechanic/technician.

Sadler Power Train is looking for individuals who possess:

· Good mechanical aptitude.

· Good verbal and written skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team.

· Ability to remain focused in a fast paced environment

· Knowledgeable of safe work practices

Your Responsibilities:

· Be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair on all types of heavy duty trucks.

· Be able to diagnose, repair, adjust and modify any heavy duty components.

· Be able to repair and troubleshoot engines.

· Maintain positive interaction with service writer, parts department, customers and management.

· Our team member must:

· Have own set of tools.

· Have valid CDL.

· Have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with diesel engines and heavy duty trucks.

· Be detail oriented.

· Have strong work ethic.

· Be able to work in a fast paced environment.

· Be physically able to meet the demands of the job with no restrictions.

· Monday-Friday 8-5
