Heavy-Duty Vehicle Technician

We are looking for a talented and reliable Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on semi trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all fleet vehicles (as well as outside customers) are in optimal working condition, minimizing downtime, and maximizing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on semi trucks, including engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic systems, etc.
• Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on all fleet vehicles, including but not limited to brakes, tires, suspension, fuel systems, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use specialized tools that connect to the truck's electronic control units (ECUs) to read and clear codes, view sensor data, and perform advanced commands, ultimately aiding in identifying and resolving issues.
• Ensure all repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the service manager and other departments to ensure timely and effective repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and inspections in the company’s maintenance management system.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and clean work environment by following proper safety protocols and equipment maintenance.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
