Heavy Equipment Mechanic

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar equipment, including loaders, excavators, and generators.
• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacement, and lubrication.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems, transmissions, engines, and electrical systems.
• Utilize Caterpillar diagnostic tools (ET, SIS) to identify issues and perform repairs efficiently.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential safety or operational issues and report findings.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records, and parts requisitions accurately.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation before returning to service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workshop and work areas.
• Assist in field service repairs as required.
• Communicate effectively with the supervisor regarding equipment status and job progress
• Must have knowledge of 6 wheels trucks diagnos and repairs
