Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Anderson Machinery is looking to add to our service department. We are looking for EXPERIENCED technicians with verifiable training and/or hands on knowledge.

Essential Functions:

· Maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on a variety of company owned and customer’s equipment while using a high degree of independent judgment.

· Perform maintenance and repairs of Truck Mounted - Rough Terrain - All Terrain Cranes - Crawler Cranes - Lattice Boom Cranes - Boom Trucks and all types of heavy dirt equipment, such as Excavators - Dozers - and Rollers used for construction in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner. .

· Providing service documentation.

· Use schematics and diagrams to provide repairs on any type of equipment.

· Support customers by effectively interacting with customers and office in repairing equipment as needed.

· Provide clear work order documentation and reports when needed, and in a timely manner.

· Ensure compliance in all onsite, safety, health, and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a goal of zero incidents and injuries.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

To Qualify:

· Factory training certifications a plus.

· Valid Driver’s License

· 1 yrs. + of maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

· Knowledge of Manitowoc, Grove, and Kobelco cranes a plus.

· Understanding of schematics and diagrams on construction or agricultural equipment.

· Ability to complete Service Documentation related to repairs.

· Basic computer skills. Experience with diagnostic programs a plus.

· Ability to work independently.

· Must have or be able to obtain the tools applicable to position.

· Ability to interact directly with the customer in a professional manner.

· Work involves considerable lifting, climbing, twisting, bending, squatting and kneeling for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
