We currently have openings for motivated, self-directed Heavy Equipment MECHANICS in our Equipment Maintenance Department. As a Mechanic, you inspect, maintain and repair a wide variety of ground service equipment that fuels, lifts, and tows and services aircraft. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Pay based on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire services.
• Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to address complex repairs and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed while adhering to safety standards.

Job Qualifications:

• Diesel (Cummins/Duetz) and Gasoline engine (Ford inline 6 w/carburetor, Ford 2.3, Kubota) required.
• Hydraulic pumping and Compressed air experience preferred.
• Must own basic tools. - Tool Allowance after 1 year.
• Boot allowance after 90 days employment.
• Overtime, call-in and weekends as needed.

• Stable work history
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (<4 points)
• Must be able to pass drug test and FBI background check
• We follow Federal drug testing guidelines.
• Must be able to meet FBI, Airport Authority and Transportation Security Agency requirements (no felonies)
• United States citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
