Job Description: Heavy Equipment Mechanical Technician

The Heavy Equipment Mechanical Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of a wide range of heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and reliability.

Position: Heavy Equipment Mechanical Technician

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Qatar

Salary: QAR 2,000 – 5,000/Month (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs on heavy equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures efficiently and accurately
• Repair and service equipment such as earth-moving machinery, forklifts, generators, and related heavy equipment
• Read, interpret, and apply hydraulic schematics and technical manuals (preferred)
• Carry out mechanical repairs based on accurate diagnosis, ensuring high performance and quality standards
• Conduct post-repair testing to ensure proper and safe operation
• Identify worn or faulty mechanical components and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain maintenance and repair records
• Follow company safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Has general knowledge of maintaining & repairing different Mechanical failures for heavy equipment.
• Has the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose the different Mechanical problems of heavy equipment (Such as : Earth-moving equipment, Forklifts, Generators ….. etc.) .
• Has the knowledge of reading and understanding the hydraulic schematics (Preferred).
• Has the ability to perform the necessary mechanical repairs based on his troubleshooting with high performance & quality.
