Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support active construction projects. This role involves operating heavy machinery to perform site preparation, material handling, and related construction tasks while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, scrapers, excavators, and related machinery.
• Perform grading, trenching, and land clearing as required for site preparation.
• Grade checking, verifying slopes and alignments.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized job site.
• Coordinate with supervisors and crew members to complete work on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience operating heavy construction equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of equipment operation and basic mechanical maintenance.
• Knowledge of construction site safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
• Experience with Caterpillar or similar equipment preferred.
• Valid driver license is required.
• CDL is not required but is a plus.

Salary rage is based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
