Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, compactors, forklifts, and other machinery.
• Read and follow project plans and specifications to complete excavation and related tasks accurately.
• Perform thorough pre- and post-shift equipment inspections, including checking oil levels, fuel, hydraulic systems, and overall machine condition.
• Adhere to all OSHA regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Promptly report any mechanical issues, malfunctions, or unsafe conditions.
• Operate equipment with precision to prevent damage to structures, utilities, and materials.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
