Job Description

Gandy & Sons is seeking a dependable and motivated Front End Loader Operator with a valid CDL to join our team full-time. This position primarily supports oilfield drilling operations and requires safe operation of heavy equipment, transportation of equipment/materials, and assistance with day-to-day field operations.

The ideal candidate will be safety-minded, dependable, able to work independently, and comfortable working around drilling rigs and active job sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders safely and efficiently
• Load, unload, and transport oilfield materials and equipment
• Offload casing, drill pipe, mats, tanks, and other heavy materials
• Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
• Maintain safe work practices around active drilling operations
• Follow company and customer safety procedures
• Assist with general field duties as needed
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, company representatives, and rig personnel

Requirements

• Valid CDL (Class A preferred)
• Clean driving record required
• Minimum 1 year of over-the-road (OTR) driving experience or verifiable equipment operation experience
• Experience operating front-end loaders or heavy equipment
• Ability to pass drug screening and meet company safety requirements
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical job duties
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Oilfield experience preferred but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with articulated loaders such as Case 621, John Deere 624, or similar equipment
• Previous experience around drilling rigs or within the oilfield
• Knowledge of safe material handling and equipment operation
