Heavy Equipment Shop Service Technician

The Heavy Equipment Service Technician is responsible for high quality and effective maintenance and repair of Bobcat compact construction and grounds maintenance equipment. This role requires a high degree of problem solving and a can-do attitude.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Inspects, maintains and repairs equipment
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses cause of equipment malfunctions and failures; ability to hookup to machines and diagnose using software
• Identifies needed parts for repairs
• Writes and communicates clear repair narratives
• Maintains detailed records for time, parts and supplies
• Interacts with customers and co-workers on a daily basis
• Maintains a clean and tidy workspace
• Follows all safety guidelines and company procedures

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Mechanical background or schooling in diesel mechanics.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience repairing construction or similar equipment
• Must have experience with hydraulic , electrical, electronics and pneumatical systems
• Must own personal tools

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $28.84 per hour
