Join a high-performing service team that takes pride in quality work. We’re adding a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Vermeer and related construction equipment in our Garner facility. You’ll own jobs from initial inspection through final test and sign-off while keeping a clean, safe, and organized bay.
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly pay: $25–$40 (based on experience)
- Production bonuses available
- Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions (hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems)
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
- Stay current with industry and technical advancements
- Communicate with the factory for technical support
- Perform additional duties as assigned
