Heavy Equipment Truck Mechanic

• • This Position is a traveling position where needed operating in Wilkesboro, NC, Elkin, NC, Mt Airy NC
• • Overview: Maymead Inc, a reputable construction company, is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Heavy Equipment as well as diesel vehicles and possess a strong understanding of automotive mechanics. • Responsibilities:
• • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections on diesel-powered fleet vehicles.
• • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of construction equipment and trucks.
• • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns.
• • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
• • Ensure all work meets company and industry safety standards.
• Requirements:
• • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with Heavy Equipment and small trucks and vehicles
• • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair mechanical issues.
• • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• • Willingness to learn and stay updated on new technologies and techniques in automotive repair.
• • MUST have your OWN tools. Tools are not provided for your use.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• • Experience working as a mechanic
