Position Overview
We’re seeking a well-rounded Mechanic with education or experience across a variety of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have diesel experience, along with the capability and willingness to learn auto, small engines, and construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and boom lifts. Training on specialty equipment will be provided as needed.

This position will primarily handle repairs and preventative maintenance in our shop and in the field, and help with operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on company trucks, autos, and construction equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues on diesel engines, small engines, and specialty equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Assist other duties as assigned when mechanic tasks are not needed.
• Ensure all repairs and work are performed safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diesel engines preferred.
• Knowledge of trucks, autos, small engines, and construction equipment (excavators, skid steers, lifts, etc.).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and train on specialty equipment.
• Class A CDL preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
