- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Heavy trucks and equipment, including Caterpillar, John Deere and Dodge Cummins engines.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues with engine performance and other mechanical systems.
- Repair and maintain air brake systems, hydraulics, and electrical components of heavy equipment.
- Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
- Operate heavy equipment and forklifts safely while performing repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in diesel mechanics or related fields.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Experience working with air brake systems and hydraulics is preferred.
- Ability to fabricate parts when necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Previous experience in a dealership environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
