Heavy Truck & Bus Body Technician (Combo Body Person)

Job Description:
Northeastern Bus Rebuilders (NEBR) is seeking an experienced Heavy Truck & Bus Body Technician (Combo Body Person) to join our growing fleet repair team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on commercial trucks, buses, and heavy equipment, performing body repairs, structural work, and collision repairs. This position requires someone who can handle everything from minor body repairs to major structural reconstruction on fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform body repairs on buses, trucks, and fleet vehicles
• Repair or replace damaged panels, body components, and structural sections
• Straighten frames and structural components when required
• Perform metal fabrication and welding
• Remove and reinstall body components such as:
• Doors
• Windows
• Panels
• Bumpers
• Mirrors
• Interior trim
• Prep vehicles for paint
• Work with fiberglass, aluminum, and steel body components
• Ensure repairs meet safety and DOT standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Experience with heavy truck or bus body repair
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Ability to work with steel, aluminum, and fiberglass
• Knowledge of collision repair procedures
• Ability to use body shop tools and equipment
• Valid driver’s license required

• Commercial trucks

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
