Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy vehicles (trucks, trailers, or container trucks) for the transportation of cargo and containers.
• Ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods to assigned locations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections on vehicles, ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.
• Ensure that cargo is loaded and unloaded according to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times.
• Follow traffic regulations and road safety guidelines.
• Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with loading and unloading cargo as required (depending on the nature of the job).
• Ensure the secure transportation of containers and cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Complete any necessary paperwork, including bills of lading, delivery receipts, and inspection forms.
• Good knowledge of UAE routes, traffic rules, and driving laws.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 year of experience in container and cargo transportation.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (depending on local regulations).
• Experience with flatbed, container, or heavy-duty vehicles.
• Knowledge of weight limits, cargo securing methods, and relevant safety standards.
• Ability to handle loading and unloading operations.
• Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, clients, and warehouse staff.
• Ability to maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle inspections.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.

Skills

• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, including checking oil, brakes, and tires.
• Experience with intermodal transportation (if applicable).
• Familiarity with GPS systems or route planning software.
• Physicaly Fit & Discipline

Salary Range

• Basic 2000 AED + Trip Commission + Accommodation + Company Sim
