Position Summary:
The Heavy Duty Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport goods and materials to designated locations. This role requires adherence to all traffic and safety regulations, ensuring that cargo is delivered on time and in good condition. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role and a strong dedication to reliability and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods between various locations as assigned.
• Load, unload, and inspect cargo to ensure it is secure and compliant with safety standards.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation.
• Perform routine checks on vehicles before, during, and after trips to ensure optimal performance.
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to the operations manager.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and travel times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding delivery schedules and any unforeseen issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Heavy Duty Truck Driver.
• Valid heavy-duty truck driving license in good standing.
• Knowledge of vehicle inspection and maintenance requirements.
• Ability to operate GPS and navigate efficiently.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with traffic regulations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
