Heavy Truck Driver

The Heavy Truck Driver – is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of the cargo. The driver ensures proper loading, securing, and delivery while complying with all road safety regulations, company policies, and transport requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy trucks to transport goods to assigned destinations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules efficiently
• Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and required documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules and delays
• Report accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately
• Follow defensive driving practices to ensure safety of cargo and road users.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness checks.
• Ensure fuel efficiency and proper use of company resources.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and clients.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid heavy truck driving license (UAE heavy vehicle license preferred)
• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience driving heavy trucks (e.g., trailers, car carriers, tankers)
• Familiarity with UAE traffic laws and safety standards
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting
• Physically fit and capable of handling loading/unloading tasks
• Responsible, punctual, and with good time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet delivery deadlines
• Basic communication skills in English (Hindi & Arabic is an advantage)Benefits:
