Heavy Truck Driver

Al Sharqi Transports - is looking for Heavy Truck Drivers (4 Nos) for their day-to-day logistics operations. Preference would be given to candidate who can join immediately. Boggie driving experience is an additional preference.

Minimum 3 years of experience is required. Driving Truck with Containers from Port to Port as required within the country and outside.

Core Responsibilities

• Cargo Delivery: Safely drive trucks over long or short distances to ensure on-time delivery of goods to clients.
• Vehicle Inspection: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify mechanical fitness, fluid levels, and overall safety.
• Compliance: Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws, as well as strict weight limits, parking rules, and mandatory break periods.
• Documentation: Keep accurate Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) or physical logbooks, retain fuel and toll receipts, and verify all delivery paperwork.
• Loading and Handling: Maneuver trucks into tight loading/unloading positions and assist with securing, loading, or unloading cargo.

Key Requirements & Skills

• Valid License: Must possess a valid Heavy Driver License relevant to the class of vehicle being driven.
• Clean Record: A spotless driving record with no recent moving violations or driving-related accidents.
• Physical Stamina: The ability to endure long hours on the road and perform physically demanding tasks like lifting and securing heavy items.
• Tech-Savviness: Hands-on experience with fleet communication software, GPS systems, and electronic logging devices.
• Adaptability: The foresight and calmness to safely handle unexpected situations, such as severe weather, traffic bottlenecks, and mechanical issues.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
