Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Heavy Driver cum Mechanical Technician with 2–3 years of experience to support the maintenance and operation of water and wastewater treatment systems. The role involves carrying out routine mechanical maintenance tasks and safely operating heavy vehicles for transporting water, chemicals, and equipment to various project sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Driving & Field Support
* Operate heavy vehicles such as water tankers and vacuum trucks safely and efficiently.
* Transport water, chemicals, and equipment to designated locations.
* Carry out daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
* Assist in loading and unloading materials when required.
* Maintain trip logs, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
* Follow assigned routes, schedules, and all traffic regulations.
Mechanical Responsibilities:
* Perform routine preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, and piping systems.
* Assist in troubleshooting and repairing basic mechanical faults.
* Conduct regular inspections and report equipment issues.
* Support installation and servicing of mechanical equipment.
* Maintain maintenance records, tools, and spare parts.
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.

Requirements:
* Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (mandatory).
* 2–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance and heavy vehicle driving.
* Basic knowledge of pumps, valves, and mechanical systems.
* Familiarity with safety standards and field operations.
* Ability to work in outdoor environments and flexible shifts
