Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing routine repair and preventative maintenance for all company vehicles, while operating in a safe efficient manner.

This position is responsible for performing routine repair and preventative maintenance for all company vehicles, while operating in a safe efficient manner.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Daily driver’s vehicle inspection reports
- Daily p.m. maintenance
- Daily state inspection repairs
- Daily safety equipment updates, replacement, and installation
- Daily electrical diagnostic troubleshooting
- Daily light repairs
- Daily welding and fabrication work
- Daily loader conveyor belt maintenance
- Daily tire replacement and balancing
- Daily hydraulic leaks and repairs
- Daily suspension repairs
- Daily clutch adjustment and replacement
- Daily rear end and transmission repairs
- Daily drive line and u joint replacement
- Daily cab and body repairs, inside and out
- Daily trailer frame support work, landing gear legs, etc.
- Daily air conditioning and heater systems checked and repaired
- Daily brake work and rebuilding
- Daily bearing and seal replacement
- Daily cranking system, charging systems, and battery installation
- Daily cooling systems checked, cleaned, and winterized
- Daily fifth wheel rebuilding and replacement
- Daily steering checks and repairs
- Daily engine repairs
- Daily road testing vehicles
- Snow removal and clean up/maintenance of shop and ground
- Must be able to work without close supervision
- Must maintain an excellent attendance record
- Must follow all safety procedures and requirements
Education:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Brake Certification
- AC License
- Class A CDL
- Virginia State Inspection License
Experience:
1 year recommended
