Heavy Vehicle Driver

Key responsibilities

• Learn and follow correct route to complete assigned tasks on a timely basis.
• Maintain a both internally and externally clean and mechanically sound vehicle at all times.
• Knowledgeable about scheduled and preventive maintenance schedule and perform routine vehicle inspection and maintenance including checking the oil, fuel, brakes, lights, windshield wipers, and water and tire pressures.
• Maintain a clean driving track record with no at-fault accidents or traffic violations.
• Maintain required records of work performed, timely reports of accidents, incidents, and unusual occurrences.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Assist colleagues wherever necessary

To qualify for the Role, you must have

• Proven work experience as a heavy driver with Bus, Truck & Trailer Driving experience.
• High school diploma/graduation. Careful driving skills. Knowledge of UAE roads and traffic rules.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• At least 5 years of excellent driving and customer service experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
• Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Valid heavy driving license, Bus, Truck and Trailer
