Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Electrician

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor / Workshop Manager

Location: Emirates Calcium Carbonate Factory (ECCF)- KEZAD Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose

Maintain and repair electrical systems of heavy vehicles and equipment used within ECCF (trucks, loaders, forklifts, and other machinery) to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy vehicles, loaders, forklifts, and trucks.
• Maintain batteries, alternators, starter motors, and wiring systems.
• Carry out preventive electrical maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Test and calibrate vehicle electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic tools.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and manuals for troubleshooting.
• Install and repair lighting, control panels, and sensors.
• Support workshop team during breakdowns and urgent repairs.
• Ensure compliance with ECCF safety and maintenance standards.

Qualifications & Skills

• ITI/Diploma in Auto Electrical or related trade.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in heavy vehicle electrical repair and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems for heavy vehicles and industrial equipment.
• Skilled in diagnosing faults using scanners and testing tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and attend to urgent breakdowns.
• Team player with commitment to safety.
