Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic specializing in diesel engines to join our team at Aber Vehicles Registration Company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy vehicle, with a focus on diesel engine systems. This role is crucial in ensuring our fleet operates efficiently and meets regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests on diesel engines to identify malfunctions and determine necessary repairs.
• Repair or replace engine components such as cylinder heads, turbochargers, fuel system components, and exhaust systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems related to diesel engines.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Test-drive vehicles to ensure proper operation and identify any additional issues.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members on repair status and parts requirements.
• Train and mentor junior mechanics or apprentices as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding quality standards and workplace safety.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Vehicel Mechanic specializing in diesel engines.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine components, systems, and diagnostics.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in repairs and maintenance.
• Certification from a recognized vocational or technical school is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

Experience:

• Heavy Vehicle Mechanic: 2 years (Required)
