Job Advertisement: Heidelberg SM Machine Assistant Operator

The Heidelberg SM Machine Assistant Operator supports the main operator in running the Heidelberg Speedmaster SM offset printing press, ensuring smooth production, quality output, and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in machine setup, plate mounting, ink preparation, and paper loading
• Support makeready and job changeovers to reduce setup time
• Monitor print sheets for color consistency, registration, and quality
• Refill inks, dampening solutions, and manage paper feeding
• Help maintain proper machine cleanliness and lubrication
• Remove waste sheets and maintain an organized work area
• Report mechanical issues or print defects to the operator/supervisor
• Follow safety procedures and company quality standards

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of offset printing processes
• Experience working with Heidelberg SM or similar offset machines preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physically fit to handle paper loading and machine support tasks
• Willingness to work in shifts and meet production deadlines
